What happens to my bet if a game goes into extra time or overtime?

In most cases, extra time and overtime do not count. Unless the market says otherwise, bets are settled on the result after regular time, which in football means 90 minutes plus stoppage time, without extra time or a penalty shootout.

For example, a football match ends 1-1 after 90 minutes and Team A wins 2-1 in extra time. A bet on Team A to win loses, because the result after regular time was a draw.

If a market includes overtime, this is stated in the market name. Player props in basketball, American football, ice hockey, and baseball always include overtime (extra innings in baseball), and esports markets include overtime unless the market name states otherwise.

Unless explicitly stated in the market title, all match bets apply to regulation time only (including stoppage time). Overtime or shootouts are excluded except where explicitly noted or standard for specific sports/props.
